Hey Beautiful! I promised you all a blog post SO HERE YA GO! I’ve gotta say, I’ve gotten so much done this week and its only Tuesday but while we are on the topic of being productive it was MONTHS ago when I promised to share some of my go-to-places to shoot in and around Raleigh!

What camera do you shoot with? Oh, tale, err, question, as old as time! I get this question quite often. Well, I decided to share what my current tools for the trade are! Now, I do want to say that we are so lucky to live in such a cool technologically advance time. We don’t have to develop rolls of film in a darkroom anymore. We are not limited to however many shots are included in those rolls. And most any camera you can get today will be awesome. Here’s is my current setup, if you must know 😛

Happy New Year! It’s 2019, it’s Senior Year and it is time to get styled! I love shooting almost as much as I love dressing up and fashion, so let’s talk trends and outfits ok?! OK! First of all the color of the year is Living Coral. SO grab anything in the color and you already way ahead of the crowd!

This was a shoot fit for a queen. Or in Ellie’s case a King. Please laugh at my pun, I am referring to Ellie’s last name “King.” Ok so true story! Growing up, I literally told the lamest jokes and my family made me say (end joke) so they knew when to laugh. Obviously I have come a long ways in my comedic career. >insert winky face<

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I can’t believe it’s Christmas Day, I blinked (I really did) and the year went by! It feels like yesterday my little family and I were enjoying the holiday, drinking yummy coffee and watching our babes rip open presents. Last Christmas we decided to stay in North Carolina and just do a simple holiday together. I don’t know if it was the holiday spirit or the extra time we had to sit around and think….

Happy Monday beautiful. I’ve been meaning to hit publish on this EPIC senior shoot post for dayssss and it’ss finally the day! This warm sunny fall shoot from mid October was so fun and Carlie modeled her way through the “Forever Young & Free” shoot experience. Carlie attends Franklin Academy and is SO funny, smart, and def one of the cutest people I have ever met

Jenna!! I knew the minute I met you that it was going to be TON of fun to capture your sparkly attitude and your stunning smile. You are beautiful inside and out, I had a blast shooting with you and I’m SO excited to share these images here on the blog today.

BUBBLY, ADVENTUROUS & OUTGOING…just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Molly! I love this girl, she is part of my 2019 MODEL TEAM and has been so much fun to hang out with and get to know!

Hannah is the kindest, sweetest Senior and I was thrilled to have the chance to create her dream Senior session! Hannah had seen a set of images that I had shot at the pink building in Raleigh earlier this year, she 100% had her heart set on it shooting at the same spot.

Happy Labor day! I hope you are enjoying the long weekend and catching up on naps and having an amazing time with family and friends. I may be 27 years old, but naps will always sound like a fabulous idea to me. Ok, naps and snacks, can I get an amen?! Also if you are reading this on your holiday, thanks for stopping by the blog.
